DictoKey is a voice dictation keyboard for Android. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
When you use the dictation feature, your voice is recorded temporarily on your device and sent to our server for transcription. Audio data is processed in real-time and never stored on our servers. It is discarded immediately after transcription.
A random, anonymous device ID is generated on first launch to manage your account tier and rate limits. This ID is not linked to your Google account, phone number, or any personal information.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage counts (number of dictations, translations, rewrites per day) to monitor service health and costs. No content of your dictations is logged or stored.
DictoKey uses the following third-party APIs to process your requests:
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
All communications between the app and our servers use HTTPS encryption. Device tokens are generated randomly and stored securely on your device.
DictoKey is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
